So a fucking chicken with it's head cut off has absolutely nothing on me.

Seriously.

Emmy and I have been so busy lately - production for her album has been shipped down here to LA, and I'm working at my own production company...so we're pretty much home to eat and sleep. Star, that dog is a damn saint - she puts up with our busy schedules. She's a good beastie, that one.

So yeah, we've hired a wedding planner. Because of my lack of motivation or skills? Probably...though, Emmy seems more organized in regards to my life than I am. God I love that woman.

So yeah, that's why I haven't been around - there's been, like, no spare time lately...

BTW, news on the Knoxville Birthday Bash soon. \m/_

Some fancy little place I've known about for the while on the beach. It's quiet, secluded. Pretty damn sweet.

So yeah, I knew Lucia Micarelli was in town, and I know Emmy's a fan of hers. So I called Lucia up [We go back about...two months?], and she was more than happy to be the oh-so-romantic violinist.

I felt so fucking cheesy, but hey, Knoxville can be a romantic too.

Anyways, we have no idea when and where the wedding is going to be. At least, we haven't finalized everything; we're keeping it on the D.L. for a bit, just so everything can be settled. As Ehren always says, 'Safety first!'

Oh, and I'll be inviting ya'll to my birthday extravaganza soon. Fort Knoxville is going to rock.

But I've gotta skidaddle; time to pick up Emmy at the studio.

I fucking hate being sick. It sucks. A lot. This has been the first day in three I've been able to haul my ass out of bed, go outside, and do something.

Emmy drove my sorry ass to the hospital the other day after I was up half the night feeling like I'd been shot in the stomach. The doctor said I was just overtired, so ordered me to come back home and sleep and relax for a few days.

And I fucking hate that.

But yeah, Mom and Emmy have made sure I ain't going nowhere. Thanks for the care, ladies.

But today I'm up and at 'er. The offer was accepted on that Ranch that I put one in on last week, and we're going to see it today.

Henceforth, it is being called Fort Knoxville.
Take that, Bam.

I think I'm fucking crazy.

I knew I was before, but now I'm really confirming it. I think it started by being knocked in the head a few to many times throughout the years...

And if buying a $3,000,000 ranch in the Middle Of Fucking Nowhere, Tenessee doesn't constitute as crazy, I don't know what is.

I brought Emmy down to Tenessee with me this morning to meet my parents and my daughter, Madison. She also came to help me look at ranches/farms to make sure I didn't spend too much money; that woman keeps me somewhat sane. God love her for that. Anyways, we took Madison with us to this ranch about an hour outside of Knoxville: 240 acres of pure fucking awesomeness. It's got a 10 stall barn, and a 3,750 square foot log cabin castle hybrid, a private lake, a private forest, and a kickass indoor/outdoor pool.

Madison loved it. Emmy loved it. And I did too. I put in the offer right then and there.

Call me fucking nuts, because I am.

And God love Emmy for putting up with me...and Madison, too.

I haven't been home in a while, either. My mother practically jumped me as soon as I stepped into the terminal at the airport, then she went on to nearly topple poor Emmy with hugs; I felt for her, I really did...I think my mom is growing senile with old age. She brought Dad and Maddy with her; Dad gave me a good ol' slap on the back, and Maddy jumped me like Mom did Emmy. Maddy and Emmy didn't stop talking until we got to the house...and now they haven't stopped singing. Oh well; it's great to be chillin' with the family again.

[If only Bam could see this place I put an offer in for; it'd knock Castle Bam right outta the water!]

    <lj:music>Whiskey In The Jar - Metallica</lj:music>

Alright, so, today I decided to go out on the town. To do what? Not to sure, but what I did end up doing was mighty interesting.

I was down on one of those crazy New York strip streets...you know, the ones with all the theme stores? Anyways, I was thinking about going into a music store and browsing for some vinyl for the good ol' collection, and I ran into this girl.

So we started talking. Emmy's awesome; I've seen a few of her movies and I liked them, and she's also really friendly. We went to coffee, then for some drinks (No worries, after happy hour!), and just hung out. The past few days I've spent with Emmy have been pretty sweet; I met her parents, scared her a bit, and today we hung out with the rest of the guys (Thanks for faceplanting me at the skatepark, Bam...you asshole). I think she's taken a bit of a liking to our foolishness and fun...maybe we'll get her to try something next time she's out with us.

Ems seems to think that riding horses will put me ahead of the other guys...so she's trying to teach me. Only time will tell if good ol' Knoxville excells at this. Well, at least I know that if I fall off, it can't hurt as bad as getting the shit kicked out of me by a bull.

Anyways, I've got to get going...I smell like horses...gnarly.

Rock On.

- King Knoxville
